High Prey Drive Enrichment Toy | Lo Ball Treat Pod

🐾 Ruca & Lemmy Review

Best For Dogs with a high prey drive, food-motivated dogs, scent games, and enrichment activities.

What We Loved This has become one of our favorite enrichment toys. We hide it throughout the garden and let the pups search for it. Finding the toy, opening the Velcro petals, and uncovering the treats provides wonderful mental engagement. For dogs with a high prey drive, the process of locating, opening, and "dissecting" the toy taps into natural predatory behaviors in a safe and appropriate way. Lemmy loves joining the hunt, too.

Things to Know This toy is designed for supervised enrichment, not tugging or heavy chewing. If you're interested in learning more about living with and enriching the lives of dogs with a high prey drive, we highly recommend Simone Mueller's books on Predation Substitute Training.
